A delightful and picturesque Central Hawke's Bay golf course - arguably one of the best 9 hole course's in New Zealand. Situated in the Forest Gate Domain which also includes the Central Hawke's Bay cricket club.

You'll find the Onga Onga Golf Course just a few kilometres south along Highway 50 from the historic village of Onga Onga.

Our par 71 for men and 73 for women course is beautifully treed, challenging, well kept and tidy, with the tee blocks differentiated by clever variations in distance and angle to give a different feel between front and back nines.An easy walk.

Highway 50 branches off State Highway 2 before Waipukurau on the Takapau plains and reconnects north at Hastings.

We are a strong golfing community who know that the golf is only half the equation, and pride ourselves on our warm welcome to visitors, whether playing on the course or relaxing in the clubhouse afterwards. Come along and enjoy our hospitality. Bookings are not required but please check the calendar to see if the course is closed for a special event.
